Well Hello everyone! It’s September 19th today, do you know what that means? No I don’t mean that it’s the beginning of fall … or the start of a school year … I mean it’s 3 months until CHRISTMAS! :) haha. I won’t start the countdown yet, but let’s just say I’m already putting together christmas playlists. It’s never to early to have christmas in your heart ;-)
So yesterday I had an amazing time at a songwriter’s potluck/ networking party … met some really cool people and scheduled some neat things - I’ll keep you posted. Today there is the #1 Hit Party - where all the writers who had #1 Hits in 2011 are recognized. Very cool event put on by the NSAI (nashville songwriting association international) -> you can see why they go by their acronym :)
This week I’m playing at Hotel Indigo on West End Ave - 8pm, Wednesday September 21st. I’m playing at the other Hotel Indigo - downtown on Union/3rd - 7pm, Friday September. 23rd. I have more shows the following week, but I’ll keep you posted!
I have found that Ice cream is more desirable at $3.00 a tub. I have currently banned myself from eating anymore ice cream this month … I also joined a 24 hour gym so that there are no excuses for missing a workout. I guess I should go instead of updating this blog at 2:25am. But really, who goes to the gym at 3 am anyway? No, I’ll wait until tomorrow. :) You can see the pattern? :P No, I’m trying to be super healthy - it’s fun creating new healthy meals. I’ll let you know how that goes lol.
I have a couple co-writes this week, and am very excited to let the creative juices flow once again. Should be a productive week! Come back and check in soon, ya hear?
