Nashville #1 :-)
October 19th
Wow, I’ve done so many things and I’ve only been here 3 days!!! I’ll just give you a little update. I arrived late Saturday the 16th and got all organized after a very long day of flying. Sunday the 17th I did some networking downtown Nashville, then attended a songwriters potluck, full of beginner to hit writers all chilling and enjoying each others’ music and having a good time. I was pretty sick, but performed a couple songs and it was a blast, I met so many cool people!!! Monday the 18th I attended a songwriting workshop put on by Marc-Alan Barnette- met some cool people, sold a couple Cds and was the Guest Artist being featured - to show how the songs turn out when you write with Marc. Today, the 19th, I caught up on some well deserved sleep and spend the afternoon/evening writing a song with Ryan & Erika - two people I met at the dinner the night before! :-) We have something pretty cool started and I can’t wait to finish the song!
All of this in only 3 days! I can’t believe I get to stay here for another month and learn and grow in my music. I’m so excited to see what this adventure turns into :) As I’m going to be pretty busy, I’ll try and write every week - but please keep checking in as I will post video very soon!
This week I’ll attend another songwriting night, I’m performing downtown Nashville at the Commodore Grill this Thursday, I’m excited to write again with Grady Walker (who wrote No Yellow Brick Road with me), and of course meet new people and connect with old friends.
