2011 A NEW Year!
Wow. I can’t believe this year has passed by so quickly. Before I jump into the plans I have for this year … let me just start by thanking EVERYONE who has read my blogs or followed along on my crazy journey this last year. You all mean the world to me, and give me energy and inspiration EVERY day. <3
The year 2010 really shaped who I am as a person and I realized that if I put my mind to it, I can do anything. Cheesy? Yes … but very true. Just one and a half years ago I was taking a break from school at the Conservatory and decided to chase this Recording dream.
I have recorded at Dark Horse recording, released my debut album ‘Open Road’ all across Canada on iTunes & HMV, had 3 Radio singles, opened for Canadian artists like Trooper, Johnny Reid & Jessie Farrell … launched a clothing Merchandise Line, wrote/co-write 41 songs, travelled to Nashville this past fall & played many venues in Canada and Nashville. I would say I was extremely blessed in 2010 and can’t wait for what 2011 has to offer me.
I am heading to Hawaii on a family Vacation and when I return I will be recording a lot of the songs I wrote in Nashville last month and can’t wait to share them with you! I will be playing many venues and look forward to seeing some of you in the crowd! More news in February!
