April 27th
Hello there. It has been a little bit since I wrote something! I hope you have enjoyed this start to spring … with the 1 hot sunny day followed by 3 rainy days … followed by a cloudy day etc… :-) I am counting down the days until summer!! And not just because it’s going to be hot and wonderful, because I am planning an EPIC road trip down South. I will be gone for about 4 months, visiting friends, writing music, jamming at shows and hopefully making some awesome memories <3
I had a blast last weekend with Byron James, of 93.7 JRfm - if you haven’t listened to that station … I’ve gotta say, you are missing out - do it! Anyways, awesome time hanging out and he was DJ-ing at the Bourbon downtown Vancouver - such a cool Country Venue - check it out sometime. He played my song ‘Should’ve Walked Away” 5 times throughout the evening, and it was SO cool to see people dancing to it and having a great time! Epic.
