July 1st! + More good news …

Hey! I am getting excited about Canada Day, July 1st … opening for Trooper!!! Myself and my band, The Dirt Road Scholars, are playing an hour set just before Trooper and the firework show in Parksville B.C. We are going to be selling our t-shirts, posters, CDs and I am looking SO forward to meeting so many of you!!! :-)
One exciting thing we are doing is launching a mens t-shirt, as I’ve had many requests for that! I think the design I have come with is going to be really popular with the guys … and perhaps the girls too!
We are halfway through my 2nd single ‘Love Don’t Even Know My Name’ (listen to that on the media page) and we are making progress across Canada! I know that we still have another month or so with promoting this single … but I’m secretly really excited for my 3rd single. It is a really upbeat fun song perfectly suited for summer … and also is super personal as I wrote it down in Nashville for my sister. :-) I can’t wait for you to hear it!

OH I ALMOST FORGOT … I will be playing at the Duncan Sun Fest in August with Johnny Reid, Jessie Farrell, Crystal Shawanda, Ridley Bent and others!!! More info to come. We also have other BIG shows lined up for the fall … so stay tuned :P
