Roadtrip - Update 2
We have found so many hilarious billboards and advertisements along the interstate - I can’t wait to post those … hopefully you will find them amusing too, and we weren’t just going crazy from driving for so long :)
So after a relaxing night in a super sketchy ‘Days Inn’ … we headed out of Denver Colorado and into Kansas. Man that was a long drive! 10 hours of the same landscape … I’m not going to lie, I video taped while driving. What? There wasn’t anything for me to crash into, Erin was sleeping and I was bored :) More on that later.
Did you know there are two Kansas Cities? Well, try booking a hotel in Kansas City, Kansas when all the hotels and google want you to stay in Kansas City, Missouri! Needless to say it took some effort, but we found a super affordable ‘Super 8’ hotel and are currently hanging out before heading to bed.
We passed through a town called ‘Ellsworth’ (Kansas) - you Rascal Flatts fans know what I’m talking about :) Tomorrow we are heading across Missouri (through Springfield - like the Simpsons?), through the corner of Arkansas and just over the boarder of Tennessee - to Memphis!
